The title is a Cat Stevens tune
anyhow
2 things. ONE: I think we should petition the necessary authority, ie the dean of arts or whoever is in charge to allow Garber to run a fourth year seminar or something of the like where we have a more focused or more serious project, a novel or something. LGarb said he'd probably reduce it to one class of 8 or something, and I think if anyone else wants to take this option seriously, I'd be happy to look into it. Even if it means I turn out to be the Moses figure who leads the way to the land of milk and honey but is ultimately refused admitance (and dies alone in the desert).
Second order of business, for those who have expressed interest, and whoever else, I think I committed myself to playing open mike at the rose and crown on Wednesday night with some guy I dont really know. Anyhow, it's nothing really serious, probably just some covers of beatles, pearl jam or phish. 3 or 4 songs maybe, unfortunately the beatles seem to be the question mark, but thats just petty details. more importantly, let's take this matter of fourth year writing seminar into our own hands! (assuming it is at all feasible... I didnt mean to say that out loud... end transmission)
