Tremendous! This is precisely the sort of thing I want to hear. Admittedly, my style won't be familiar. I am trying indeed to innovate. The middle I think is really where all of the good stuff is, but it's very nice to see what someone has to say about it, or not to say about it. While I'd rather talk in person, it's good to hear any old way. I hope you sensed similar honesty on my part in class. Now, admittedly I'm not sure what to DO with your criticism, as you are in effect recommending I erase my work, but it can certainly apply to other works. It's nice to know I baffle. I'll also admit that your style is quite foreign to my own (I was applying psychoanalysis to the girl and her horse --> imaginary identification with other --> rejection of the Other --> possible psychosis). To close, I do apologize for (a) boring you with LONDON, and (b) boring you to death with VV, but alas, that is my horrendous style! I hope I have some supporters out there in the world -- but I appreciate the honesty of my detractors. THANKS AGAIN -- honestly -- THIS is what I want to hear! It is indeed flattering to find myself, and a work I submitted so long ago, as the only one yet reviewed on the site! Again, good work on your latest piece, which I believed I commented on sufficiently in class. Adam
