天邊外劇場將於8月24 – 26日在西灣河文娛中心帶給各位一個充滿詩意及感動人心的舞台演出 —《小河男孩》。

《小河男孩》靈感來自英國作家Tim Bowler得獎小說River Boy(1997年英國「卡內基文學獎」（Carnegie Medal）、1999年英國「安格斯書獎」(Angus Book Award))。

故事簡介：
女孩海兒最敬愛的爺爺(馮祿德飾) 患了重病，病情隨時都會惡化。頑固的他堅持要舉家回到偏遠的家鄉，因為他想在故鄉的小河邊完成自己最後的畫作　－　《小河男孩》。
酷愛游泳的海兒陪伴爺爺在小河邊作畫，也深受眼前河流所吸引。在她親近河流的時候，遇上一個神秘的男孩，他請求海兒協助達成他的夢想。
爺爺愈來愈提筆為艱，幸得海兒協助，《小河男孩》終於完成，而那個男孩也終於爬到小河源頭的瀑布頂端，一躍而下，游向大海，達成夢想…….
爺爺差不多走到生命的盡頭………
海兒在河水裏拚命追趕著男孩.….….
三個人的經歷，都為生命迸發出別具意義的火花。
