Author: Salamander [ Edit | View ] Date Posted: 00:04:07 02/15/03 Sat i grew up near moravian (my dad actually pledged ogo back in the day, but had to drop out of school to work for a semester, so he never finished their then-year-long pledging). my parents still live nearby and i've driven by the old ogo house a couple times and it definitely isn't a frat house anymore. i'm pretty sure they got booted off campus, but i don't know if they're "underground" or not. it's pretty safe to assume they no longer exist, which means we are the ONE AND ONLY ogo in the world. current brothers must do everything in their power to keep ogo alive and strong! that means STAY VISIBLE! having lots of brothers move off campus or to brookwood or cottages (or further) is a sure way to cut off the supply of prospective pledges for future semesters. keep a good base of brothers in the dorms, and one or two apartments off campus for parties. ps: i'm bummed that you guys let the yellow house get away...i'll miss the shithole todd silimperi the original duke fall 84 [ Post a Reply to This Message ]

Actually, they were kicked off campus for 4 years cause of all the crazy partying and the rivalry with the sigep brothers. But they are starting things up again this semister the alumni of the moravian chapter have been having meets with new students who are interested i live with one of the last ogo brothers before they got kicked off campus. So hopefully things are moving in the right direction , of course it won't what they used to be, but maybe sometime down the road they will be. [ Post a Reply to This Message ]

Author: Smitty [ Edit | View ] Date Posted: 19:45:36 02/27/03 Thu oh yea, another thing, OGO did loose the "wonderful" house they had at moravian, even though, OGO is starting up again, they probably won't have a house until probably a year or so when things actually start to move the old OGO house is now used for offices (i think thats kinda funny, being that it used to be a huge party house)but anyways...umm...and if and when they do get a house it will probably be a stupid apartment type place like Delta Tau Delta has now on the campus, real shitty, but anyways, LATER!
