An old era has been ushered out with the passing of our friend Mario Licon (class of Spring 1984). "Moe", as he was known to all small and large, was a great soul who never passed up an opportunity to have fun, buck up a sad brother, and spread mayhem to all in his path.
Moe brought out the best in his friends and the worst in those who crossed him. Among his many innovations were --
* injecting ink dye in the eggs we used at "war game " night. We were woefully outnumbered by the brothers that green/purple dye stained clothes, hair and skin. Ken Fetterman looked like a bad acid trip afterwards
* pouring warm salt water into the coin banks of vending machines and watching the quarters -- sometimes -- come spewing out.
* carrying a concealed weapon on his person. He was the last person who should've done this but he simply did not care.
A complex yet warm and generous human being. He was the most honest person I ever met. We the pledge class of 1984 salute you.
