Ditto. I'm constantly (or almost constantly) lost in dreams and daydreams. The world is just so painful, I don't know what else to do. Call me a coward, for hiding behind my thoughts; but it's the only way I know to keep my sanity. So I drown myself in dreams, anime, art, music...and aye, perhaps that *is* indeed cowardice, but without it, I certainly would not be myself, and...well, without these reminders that the world does not *have* to be this way, I may as well be dead. In this world, we are constantly confronted by those who cannot, or simply *will* not, understand us. These often seem to be the same ones who would have us "face reality" and leave a dream world; now I'm derriving my ideas from an Evanesence song, but we have seen their reality, and I choose my dreams; if only to preserve my sanity.

Sorry, this is something I think about a lot. I hope it doesn't sound foolish to you. no da!
