In a late night session on October 11, 2007, the State Senate passed the supplemental budget bill. It is now on the governors desk. As soon as the bill is signed by the governor, the monies will be appropriated to the D.O.C. and the D.O.C. will process the salary increases, the retroactive pay and the three thousand dollar longevity payments.

- As of today, the word on the street is that the governor has signed the bill... stay tuned!!!!!!!!
