But a smacked bum won't kill a naughty child.

The trouble is, there are so many perverts who get a stiffy from reddening someone smaller than themselves' buttocks. I don't know anyone my age who does not remember at least one pervert teacher. I wrote about a couple of them in my book, but everyone I know from that era remembers what it was like.

I feel a bit sorry for people like Max Mosely. There was so much whack abuse going on when he was a kid, no wonder he's ended up with a spanking fetish. Mind you, I don't feel sorry enough for him that I support his call for more media privacy. He ought to take all the teasing and sniggering about his private life on the chin - people would respect him a bit more for that. I don't think people really care what he gets up to really - I certainly don't, as long as he's not hurting anyone else ( unless they are up for it and over the age of consent) it's none of anyone elses business.
