Funny thing is, I sort of lost all interest in sex, rather incredibly. I had lots of romantic feelings but I also had a rather romantic notion about sisters being special as women. And so, I tended to put them on a pedestal and think of them as being above or beyond sex.

I was very much trapped into the fellowship's relating rules and it was obvious that I would never be allowed to have a normal relationship with a woman. For one thing, I was 5 years too young and for another, I knew from observation that almost nobody was ever allowed to marry, and those who did were looked down on.

And all the time I was a hot blooded male, recently of age.
