I was not criticising you for being strong willed and vocal, I think you misunderstand me.

I was just wondering how many other people benefitted from this strength?

From what you've already told me, it sounds like you went along with the crowd mentality most of the time, unless it affected you personally. It does not sound to me like tyou ever bothered to put yourself in the firing line for anyone else.
