In its extreme days there was only community. Only sisters married to unsaved men could live outside community and they made up a very tiny minority. Everything was extreme.

Now, with all the different levels of membership a lot of JAs are more worldly than I am. The elder of one household showed me his flashy car and his PDA and phone and DVD and trainers and I swear, this guy had more modern, worldly crap than I did.

They are not radical any more. They will fall apart through lack of income and interest.
