Billy, when JAs say that lots of "mistakes" were made in the past it always makes me jumpy, because it has always in the past been a shorthand for, "erm, can we forget all that without being accountable for it, and move on?".....JAs NEVER used to identify any actual mistakes. So much so that you almost got the impression that nobody really knew of any (because they tended to be hushed up) and they had just got used to trotting out the phrase.

You seem to speak with a quite different voice, Billy, which I find very refreshing, but your ref to past mistakes sounds like the old PR....especially as "mistakes" implies accident, which in itself is PR speak for things "unintended" (things which we didn't approve, things done by immature leaders who weren't really part of us, rogue elements etc)

What sort of mistakes did you have in mind?
