Everyone got Elena so involved in the Renniepalooza tee shirts that she forgot to do her anti-rain dance! Thanks a million folks, we got poured upon! (Then again, would it truly have been Columbus Day weekend without major rain?)
The only good thing was that business was slow enough at the booth that I got out to hear Bedlam twice. It was quite something unpacking yesterday, though. I pulled out Sunday's dress and got mud dumped all over the kitchen floor. Put it in the washer on a rinse cycle to get some of it out, then had to do an extra rinse cyle to get the mud out of the washer. After soaking the dress, bleaching the hem and then finally washing it, it's beginning to look off white again! :-0

BTW, as an ironic cap to the wet weekend, Rufus slipped and fell into the mud by the green room after showering and changing into his clean clothes :-( ...you can take the mudbeggar out of the mud...

Poor Rufus!!! At least he had lots of soap. As a final day prank, we had the pixies deliver a bag of soaps from our booth to the mud beggars.

Just trying to earn my place on this board. ;-) (Actually, word is that they thought it quite funny and sent us their thanks).
*Chuckle* You missed it, at least once per weekend, Rufus would stop by to attempt to hug us or some other type of shenanigans. I would run him off with the soap. At first it was a small bar, eventually it had to be a full basket to scare him.
He got his revenge, though. On the final day, he chided me that "off white is so last year, ecru is this year's color." By the end of the day, 6-8 inches up from the hem of the gown was ecru (at best)! ;-)

And that was the very first time I ever felt bad for Rufus (Mayer).
Okay, you caught me. It was the first time I felt bad for him during that hour. I still can't believe he actually fell in it and if I wasn't there at the time I wouldn't have believed it.
And "HEY!" Don't knock Elena for pushing the shirts! She's the best PR that we've got! Her 'Outloud' voice is the greatest thing since the bullhorn. And speaking of T-shirts we've got you guys down for one, right?
And I'll take rain and overcast over sunny and windy anyday of the week...Hey, it makes my show safer and prettier (like that could happen). Of course though I'll take sunny and good weather with a shady stage over everything...

Janelle, you're right, the rain was all my fault. Note to self: cannot control weather while dealing with major promotional issues. One goddess simply cannot handle it all... must speak to Zeus about getting my contract changed. Jeez, you sleep with the father of the gods ONCE and he thinks you're his personal ho for eternity.
Oh wait, I am. Sorry, forgot, my bad.
Speaking of t-shirts, we're working on it. I will announce shortly the where and the how and etc.
Wait a minute, there's not nearly enough hate in this post.
