I hate the admission price!
And, I guess I will open the gates of wrath when I say the lack of interaction and experinced talent (with the exception of a few) was previlent. It was obvious the cut backs that were made to afford the "deluxe" flush toilets, came out of the talent/entertainment budget. Again, it gets less and less each year yet the price goes up and up. I don't mind paying to see professional talent, not those who are "trying their best".

Why can't we go to the car to get a warmer coat?
Why are there no lockers to put things in for the day? Could be a way to generate $$!
Why do you HAVE to buy the food?? I heard some lame excuse about not being liable for the food eaten in the faire. Ha, like I'd get some money if I did get sick.
Speaking of which, why aren't the kids in the kitchen in costume?
And what happened to those who entertained in the big long lines? Are they doing shows now? At least it was amusing while you were standing in line to get robbed!

I don't know if I'll go back again next year. I just can't afford it anymore. I wish it was like it was about 10 years ago. All the music and happenings.......oh, well.

Let's see what the price will be next year!

A KRF patron who is about $200 poorer.

Having now worked at a larger Faire down here in Carolina, I am painfully aware of how King Richards is lacking in quality. It has a very bad reputation among performers down here as a terrible place to work. I am among those who chose to throw my talent and experience into another place where I feel it is appreciated and respected. I just don't understand how a festival that charges $22 a head can deliver so much less than most others. Carolina is a smaller Faire, it is on less land, but has more variety acts, cheaper food and well fed actors. I feel priveleged that I am among the street performers because this group is so talented, I feel I have to raise my personal best everyday just to keep up. Those new actors at KRF don't have the benifit of seeing experienced circut street performers like I have been. You can learn so much by observing professionals at thier craft.

All actors get food tickets. Patrons can use cash to buy stuff. The most expensive food item is $4.50. And it's darn good too!

We know who to blame. So it's useless to point fingers. I for one feel I have bettered myself by avoiding the KRF season completely.

Oh yeah, patrons can get thier hand stamped here for re-entery! It's that simple!!!

Matt
