I couldn't agree with you more. I friggin LOVE Howard's show, but Artie seriously makes me cringe - he's absolutely horrible! he bugs me so bad I even sent an email to the howardstern.com webmaster - hopefully they'll post it (probably not). the following is a copy of what I wrote ...

for the love of the show can Artie go? PLEASE?? I've been listening to Howard for 10 or 12 years and I'm a HUGE fan (like everyone else). I especially love the rapport that Howard, Robin & Fred have together - absolute genius! I know Artie's technically still the "new guy" - BUT, Fred's index finger has a better sense of humor than Artie's entire FAT ass! Artie talks WAY too much, his timing is HORRible, he talks over people, he's annoying as shit, I could go on and on. my point is: I absolutely love the show and I'll always listen. FM/Sirius (with or without that UNfunny fat bastard) it doesn't matter ...
BUT - TRUST ME, they don't need him - AT ALL - not even for a second.
