I was browsing the internet last night and was looking at macons site. i left a message stating " $60,000??? i looked at the payouts and i could only add up around $30,000. is this a bunch of hype or what? and also you always complain about car count , yet you tell the drivers what to do , it seems to me that if you want the car count that you would do what you got to do to get the car count , NOT tell them what to do." that was my message! i was not slamming the track i was just asking a simple question. im sure running a track is alot of work , but Macon needs to realize who keeps them in business : Drivers - the drivers bring the crew and spectators. The general rule of thumb for rain out race is : the race will be made up the following month or open weekend that no other track is running. Brainerd has never cancelled a established class (limited street) in the middle of the year and then bring it back. yes brainerd did cancel easy street but they waited until the end of the year to do it.and as far as i know of they dont cut purses at the end of the race (Cory Bright) or because of the fact that a car shows up on Sunday. if they show up saturday and break their car the driver doesnt ask for half his money back because he only raced one day , so the purse should not be cut because the driver is only there one day. I like macon and i hope they realize this weekend they made a big mistake scheduling on top of brainerd. Good luck to all drivers , whether you go to brainerd or macon!
