明光社和性文化協會的幾位代表, 在四十多人當中變成小數, 說話時顯得戰戰驚驚。Jess 說自己並不歧視同性戀者, 而且從同性戀者的角度出發, 若出現濫用法例的情況, 立法會使同性戀與異性戀分化。這番說話當場把好幾個姐妹氣哭:

「你說你不歧視, 請看你自己寫的信: 一旦性傾向歧視立法，等於宣告同性戀跟異性戀一樣正常，同性肛交跟異性性交一樣正常，而這卻有違社會大多數人的想法，甚至有害公共健康，因為肛交容易引致失禁、腹瀉、直腸潰瘍等問題，與性別歧視、殘疾歧視等沒有相同的立法基礎。這是否歧視？」
