全球經濟走下波﹐泡沫經濟爆破後﹐城市人普遍對社會﹑自己失去信心﹐對未來失去安全感。過去﹑現在﹑未來的社會問題俯拾皆是。可笑是『落後』的雲南小數民族﹕摩梭﹐有著你我皆嚮往的和諧與幸福。

2001年周華山的助學電影欣賞<<三個摩梭女子的故事>>與研討會在港台兩地反應熱烈。2004年1月﹐他再度突破﹐首次從萬里遠方邀請兩位年青摩梭女子來港同台演出。兩個鄉村姑娘走進大城市的古怪不協調趣聞﹐從笑聲中探討城市難題﹐既讓我們重新『看見』我們處身的社會和自己﹐亦從摩梭文化智慧中尋找各自心中的桃花源。配以耗時一年認真炮製的第三輯紀錄片<<消失中的摩梭>>﹐希望觀眾能從輕鬆優默的90分鐘棟篤笑﹐舒展之餘得到一點啟迪與鼓舞。

「過去三年，我生活在貧困的摩梭山區，摩梭人的快樂，給我極大感悟。
然而﹐自己的摯友，卻因事業挫敗與感情煩惱，瀕臨精神崩潰。
這次邀請摩梭朋友來香港，分享她們多次走進城市的震撼：
城市為什麼會有老人院、精神病院、家庭暴力、思覺失調！？
衷心希望我們能從輕鬆幽默的90分鐘裡得到啟迪與鼓勵；
無論遇上任何挫折，千萬不要放棄。
心中仍有夢，生命便有希望。」
