Subject: My chinchilla stopped eating today

Hello,
Today my 2 year old chinchilla stopped eating. That also includes raisins, his favorite treat. I just cleaned the cage so I don't know yet if he is plugged up (constipated). His physical appearance is OK, but he is definitely not his usual perky self. He is very sluggish/sleepy. Any advice. By the way, I have had 5 chins in my lifetime and anytime I have taken one to the vet, that was the last time I saw them alive, so I am not thrilled with that possibility. Thanks. -Mike
