You practice some spiritual discipline don't you? How did you find this site?
I also have seen the flashes of pinpoints of light many times a day for a while now. It starts to happen when kundalini becomes active, and that goes for hearing the om sounds too. The different lights correspond to different chakras and their elements, be it earth, water etc. The kundalini is awake and purifying your system and it goes on all hours. When it purifies a certain chakra area you get a certain light ans sound. The sound is easier to match to a chakra than the light ans in the kriya tradition sound is more important, at least to many authorities.
The ringing comes out of the heart chakra and the thunder out of the throat. The thunder is very close to the full om sound.
