First off, I wouldn't use my real (and especially full) name anywhere on the internet. About devotion, there is a quote in the AY about relying on none other than oneself for one's own salvation. This is also a recurrent idea in quite a few paths. I wouldn't worry about it. Eventually it will flower on it's own. If you're a kriyaban then self-reliance is a big part of your path. Everyone has a flaw, somewhere. Concentrate on the good traits that you want to mimic in your own life.
