I would go so far as to say Nojdw probably has a past-life thing with DJW. This kind of negative psychological fixation has its roots in the karma created between individuals who have had a decidedly negative interaction.

My guess is Nojdw is probably an average, harmless guy in his daily life except for this thing he has with DJW (and maybe B-A?). But he is not the only one. Tara Mata, a former SRF nun, was pretty harsh with Kriyananda back in the day as well. She considered him the Master's Judas and apparently foresaw all the ill tidings Kriyananda would draw to himself and the name of his Guru and the work. Whether or not her dislike of Walters was on the same level as Nojdw's is another question and useless to speculate about here.

I sense that there is more to it in Nojdw's case than a "guardian sheepdog" mentality. Even if that were the case, there is a difference between being a sheepdog and being another wolf in sheepdog's clothing. The way one conducts oneself even in the act of protecting something precious is also of great importance. Dharma is not open to interpretation. Dharma is itself the interpretation of Rta (truth) and applies equally to everyone. Understandably, its natural for you to praise him as a sheepdog since by your own estimate, you yourself probably fall into the 99%-who-are-sheep category.

The upside of Nojdw's behaviour, to me, is that it makes me feel Im not the only one who, while attempting to follow Yogananda's teachings, gets bogged down in unnecessary and sometimes harmful pursuits. And for that, Thanks...Nojdw.
