Ketch, you are exactly right. Master himself advised people, notably Roy Davis, to refrain from other writings for the beginning 2 or 3 years on the path. He said after you got attuned to the teachings and him a little was alright.

Unfortunately many long term devotees will browbeat you for reading any publication other than SRF. This goes for many ministers as well.

Time comes when we all have to grow up and use our own buddhi or discrimination. It is my observation that SRF gears everything for the beginner--those with 5 years in or less.
