My guess is that the name was changed when SRF was officially incorporated which was 25 March 1935. It was probably just felt that an English translation was more acceptable in America.

Looking at the issues of East West online at Mystical Portal the last one online prior to the incorporation of SRF is October 1933, where there seems to be no mention of SRF. Some later issues refer to "Yogoda (SRF)."
