But her view that the chakras correspond to the positions of the endocrine glands seems to be wrong. Here is a diagram of the major endocrine glands I found on the internet. As far as I can tell the major chakras have no obvious physical counterparts, although some may be at the site of plexuses.

The suggestion that yoga excercises work on the chakras to alter blood chemistry is also surely wrong. Does anyone have any medical opinion to share on this?
