Please tone your remarks down. Shivanath was making some valid points in a responsible manner, there is no need to respond like this.

As far as the attainment of Kechari is concerned, Lahiri Mahasaya taught specific techniques to free up the tongue. In my opinion this is what is meant by Kechari being attained "naturally" i.e. the practice of Talabaya (taught as a part of first Kriya) or similar will naturally free the tongue, and no cutting will be required.

I do not believe that he meant pranayama alone would lead to Kechari being attained spontaneously. First Kriya includes the necessary technique (Talabaya kriya).
