My intent is that of a consumer advocate. I have been victimized in the past by incompetent kriya teachers and I want to warn other people, many of whom may be new to the Lahiri lineage of kriya about some of the pitfalls. My opening statement never mentioned Shailendra or any kriya teacher by name at all so I don't think it is a fair statement to say that I am seeking converts or spamming message boards.

As you may recall my opening statement was

"Those teachers who pretend to teach the original kriya of Lahiri Mahasaya and omit the teaching of kechari mudra reveal their ignorance of the role kechari plays in the performance of the higher kriyas as taught by Lahiri Mahasaya."

Shailendra's name only comeup when I sought to provide more evidence for my position in the face of your persistent criticism. After I mentioned the pictures of kechari which are quite unique, someone asked me a direct question about Shailendra's qualifications to teach kriya so I answered them based on my personal experience. If my response appeared glowing to you, it is because my experience with him has been wonderful.
It is very distressing to hear the stories of students who have spent 5, 10 and in one case 20 years studying kriya with a teacher who was totally incompetent to teach and was never even authorized to initiate others by his guru.

I only hope that students will find a competent kriya teacher which is not easy these days.

I am simply sharing my experiences. It is clear that you don't agree and that is okay. But it is not okay to accuse me of spamming. This is the first time I have been on a message board in months.
