Well, i just dont know. The specific sounds are there for a reason. The YoganandaJi and SriYukteswarJi line taught it very specifically...from the beginning.
But I know this, once the experience of 'Poise' occurs, then one doesn't much care about other ways. 'Respect other paths but follow one path' is advice that Ramakrsna used to give I am told(dont know from which booK that came from, but good advice). Many people spend time hunting and searching for confirmation of their own path, when in actuality, it is better to practice and receive the 'prasad of Yajna', or the paravastha of kriya through assiduous practice. This is the real thing...practice and more practice, then our personal experience confirms it all for us.
