I second your motion on that one...

For example through the Energization Exercises taught by Sri Yogananda I experienced 'something' which it is not described in the printed lessons or any where else for that matter.
Up to this day I haven't met anyone yet having the same spiritual experiences according to the 'prescribed' technique(s) by the Guru.
So for each soul there is a unique way to work out his/her karma through the practice of kriya Yoga or any other spiritual sadhana.
And there is also divine grace that many of us fail to mention when we discuss these matters.
