 Hi,

For those who'd like to know, we made it to Idaho Falls, Idaho...with a few scary moments in the mountains with ice and snow everywhere. We pulled up to our house in IF at 3:30 AM early Christmas morning...having spent the entire Christmas Eve Day traveling.

Overall, the trip was fine...and we're certainly glad it's over...say amen!!! Barbara goes back to work on Tuesday...as Elizabeth starts school the same day. I've got lots to do to get prepared to teach my two upcoming courses for Idaho State University...first class is Jan. 8 for one course and Jan. 11 for the other.

So, here we are...already missing Oregon but all of us are very excited about being here. I'll check in later and do some updating (as some have requested). Lots of unpacking still to do...most stored in garage for the moment.

Weather is COLD!!! This is the kind of winter I grew up in and have lived in for many years...so long Oregon winters in the valley :))
