Subject: FIRELIGHT

A pair of coffee brown eyes swept over the area.. searching for one. Firelight. The dark stallion walked a few steps, touching, out of habit, a few tree trunks with his blackened muzzle along the way.

1.. 2..

Where was she? Busy probably. Of course, busy. That's all Adrian ever was when HE ran the big house. The auburn grinned to himself. Perhaps he would be able to enjoy the company of his own self now. What a joy. The bay could finally pick up the pieces he'd dropped along the way. His tattered relationships, especially. Adrian barely had time to breath since Navy's leaving.. between the constant responsibilities of leadership and the countless negotiations. He had not really thought of her for.. well, a record setting amount of time. But then again, the bay stallion didn't like 'dwelling' on a single matter.. or so he called it.

3.. 4.. 5..

Firelight. Firelight. Firelight. Firelight. Firelight. The black-pointed thoroughbred traveled along. Finally he stopped.

6 trees.. and counting.

"Firelight." Adrian said quite suddenly. Was she happy with the poor Annabel Lee as her captive? He hoped so. The bay did not exactly want to disappoint her.
