Subject: The Forgotten, The Unwanted [Adrian]

Tired green eyes peeked out from under white-blonde tresses, chiseled head held high despite the fatigue. Odd, for having done absolutely nothing at all, the palomino was exceptionally tired. Guess it went along with the territory of being a new mother in a volatile environment. Tori figured she should be worried, after all, her fate was still unknown. Adrian had so casually brushed her off during his earlier speeches and had yet to speak with her about the remainder of her captivity. Would she stay under his control? Under Dagger's? Or, perish the thought, under Firelight's? The questions begged for answers and yet the gilded matriarch did not seek out her oppressor. The time would come soon enough when changes would be enacted and the decision of her fate would once again come to the forefront.

The milky-hued flicka stood close by her mother, curious orbs dimmed by boredom. She could sense her mother's anxiety, feel it almost like a tangible wave, yet she held her tongue. The problems of adults were just that -- the problems of adults. Her curly stub of a tail twitched absently, pale pelt occasionally rippling to discourage biters.
