Wandering. Wandering. Wandering. Had he already past that tree? Twice, yes. He was circling around the terra… bored. Often the brute changed forms during his circling. From equine to wolf… wolf to equine… and so on. He mumbled something under his breath about needing to talk to the Lady about getting true shape-shifting powers. She could do that, no doubt.

Ack… so bored… where was his sister, Firelight? What did it matter… she was probably still with her mate. Was he jealous? Possibly.

In and out he wove through the shadows. His ebon’ coat blended in perfectly with darkness. Gold banner lifted the noble arch as he broke into a run. A short distance away, however, he came to a stop. He was so bored that he didn’t feel like running.

Hooves morphed into paws once more. He prowled around the dark terra, looking for anything… anything… worth his interest.
