The stallion approached, the shreds of the meager moonlight traversing boldly upon his scruffed bay coat. A certain unglamerous pride matched his step, and the rough one's form was etched with graceful modesty. The two words, pride and modesty, have been, oddly enough, placed in the same sentence. But such held true for the vibrant enigma dubbed Adrian, a mere common name for such an individualist. He knew who he was coming up upon before his ebonite hooves reached the meeting place. It was Shazaam, still impressive, still civil, still spotless beneath the failing moonlight. The Light king had what the wildly driven rebel did not have. Shazaam seemed held back, Adrian seemed steady but unmistakenly dauntless, in a daring "get me now" fashion. On the edge of simple playfulness, the dirty bay held the closest definition of life. The freedom had eaten a deep groove in his behavioural patterns. How interesting it is that this completely uncollared horse became to lead the Rebel Horses. Fate perhaps. Or maybe instead Adrian's weakness: anger and hate and blind loyalty. Just shy of a common cliche, the truth-spinning stallion kept the balance equally in check. His motion stopped, he held himself with scruffy dignity.

Finally you came. Dreadful long way, no?

The black-pointed male spoke in quiet reserve, making a stab to lighten the air. He then smirked pointedly.

Your mother almost had me, Shazaam. You would love for me to be gone, or am I wrong? Discuss away.
