yes, that would have been correctly assumed.. and you wish to know what you and your herd will get out of this? isn't the knowledge that they will be better represented enough?

a dry chuckle escaped him with these words, and he took a moment to collect himself before pressing once more into speech

the tone of his voice suggested he was joking, at the venomous female's expense, as she was not present. for he wouldn't have dared to speak so mockingly of her to her face. or maybe he would have, but then it would only have been to feel her onyx scythes embedded in his hide.
feeling that he had let enough on of their future plans for the moment he settled himself to concentrate on the second half of the pronunciation, completely ignoring the painfully icy quality of the words as he spoke.

well, Ziraga, you tell me. what kind of a ruler would i be, if i had not first attempted to rally the support of my subjects? yes, i hear of your brief stint as monarch, but if it was so uneventful it would only be because you had made it so. aerial and i have already concocted many intriguing exploits to keep us busy.

falling silent he waited to see the response to his words. one muscled extremity cocked idly to scratch into the snow as he spoke. demnstrating how at ease he was.
