Education& YOuth
-in 1920s emphasis on training & expertise played a role in education of youth
-more people going to high school
-enrollment in colleges&Univ. increased 3 times between 1900& 1930
-other schools of institutions increased
-schools for modern tchnical skills, engineering, management, economics
-schools & colleges provided youth w/ social patterns,hobbies,intrests& activities
-these institutions allowed youth to define themselves less of their families & more of their peer group
