What happened to the way things used to be
When we could sit and talk all day?
Because now it seems as if we don't have much to say
Remember that this is a one way street in the middle we should meet
I remember being able to hold you for hours in my arms
Now it just don't seem like I have the charm
There may not always be an Us but there will forever be a u in me
Because no matter what happens to us
I will always remember that I fell in love with you
And really there is nothing that you or I can say or do
What happened to that picture perfect love that every
little girl dreams about?
I guess I never really got that figured out
My love for you is different though
Its exciting, fullfilling, kind of an under the covers
Thing you know
I feel like I have fallin in love with you
And I just need to know if you are slipping away
because I have grown to love you
And really there is nothing I can do
So help me out with these questions that I ask
What happened to you and me like it used to be?
Please tell me that it hasnt went away
And what happened to all the ways that we where going
to make it therew together someday?
I need you to ve with me to show me the way
So anyways I was just wondering What happened?
Like what happened to the letters filled with excitement
that would make our blood rush?
The fullfillment and pleasure of the touch of your hand
Where did they go I was just wondering if you would know?
I love you and I can tell you that forever
And in my lifetime I'll prove that to you in as many ways
That I can
But there will never be anyway for me to be your man
For that I am sorry because the fact of that makes me worry
Because I have fallin in love with you
And if I had to share you with someone else I don't know what I woul do.
