I did 2 pageants by these directors, the one thing I did not like is that children of the emcee were in the pageant.
To me this was giving other mothers a chance to lash out at the directors. That yes one of these directors already has a rep of coming on boards and bashing a few children. I have read her comments on this board as well as other boards needless to say I gave her the benefit of the doubt.

To me allowing a child/children compete in a pageant in which a parent who was affliated with the pageant was a bad judgement.

I also felt that some of the queens at this pageant were not on the up and up and not a complete package like the directors said that judges would be looking for, but judges are judges. Some are biased and those are the judges that will cause your pageant to corrupt and corrode. I feel sorry for the directors because they will fall victim to these vicous and deceiving judges that have displayed their bias opinions. But like I have noticed this can and will happen at any calibur pageant.

I do not think that because of Q&K this pageant had a small turnout, most of those children only do National or more Bigger State titled pageants. So I do not feel that was a factor.

But back to the subject, I have noticed one of these directors can act irrational at pageants with a great deal of attitude and no matter her bashing on these boards we have attended her pageant had a nice time once and another a not so great experience so needless to say my child will not be attending another. The awards were beautiful. I think the way the directors handle their buisness is not buisness like in my opinion, and of course you do not have to share my opinion.
And to anyone that is wondering if my DD did place, yes she did both times and very high at that.

I just wanted to shed some light and a peek at my personal opinion on this whole subject.
