What is the difference between a festival pageant & a glitz pageant? Just ask yourself that question, alot. If a judge is just use to the festival pageants enviroment she will mostly judge on the same criteria. Everyone knows there is a big difference, why do you think there is complaining? Not to bash and pageant directors but this is a reason why KG doesn't get good turnouts but she is happy with her turnouts, the thing is she gets people from the festival side of pageants.
Another thing is yes maybe this girl had good facial scores BUT at a Glitz pageant of this caliber the judges need to realize that they need to look for a TOTAL PACKAGE. NOT just facial beauty. Facial Beauty, Overall Appearance, etc. They all play a key factor, and well they just didn't this time. I know I am not the only one in that ballroom that was upset with their being a festival judge. I hope JC realizes the backlash of this and does not get another festival judge next time or she will start losing contestants.
