i know i have ran into this problem. i try so hard to check calendars and look at entry forms, but when there is nothing posted or out there and you book a hall/ballroom and begin advertising. it is hard at times to readjust when you can reschedule. other times it may not be so hard! i think just go where you feel more comfortable and next time try the others pageant. no one that i know of is out to hurt any other director. especially, if you are a good hearted, respectable director.
