Where does Chad Kroeger get off saying that Pearl Jam isn't a real rock band? Because they haven't had their videos played on MTV 8 times an hour over the past few years? Because they dared to be different when music was in a slump? A real rock band takes risks, something that Nickelback does not do. The fact that anyone would even compare them to Pearl Jam is ludicrous. In five years, Nickelback will be merely a novelty act who were known for a few hits, and Pearl Jam will be revered as a great rock n' roll band. Chad Kroeger should sit down and listen to all of the Pearl Jam albums all the way through and then comment on their status as a rock n' roll band. He really should get off his high horse and work on making his own music better before insulting anyone else's. Being compared to Pearl Jam is an honor that Nickelback doesn't deserve.
