Le Mobile Tracks Pearl Jam's Live Shoot

Seattle, WA (September 26, 2002)--When Pearl Jam decided to do its first full-fledged video in nine years, the group insisted on playing live and booked Seattle's Chop Suey club for two days in September. Le Mobile recorded the music in sync with a 35mm film shoot. The band performed six songs, including the slated single track, "I Am Mine," from the forthcoming studio album, Riot Act, on Sony Records.

"We just finished mixing what we recorded in Le Mobile, and it all turned out great," says Brett Eliason, the longtime live and studio mixing engineer for Pearl Jam. According to Eliason, all six songs will be edited, with tentative plans to release a promotional video in Europe. Plans to release "I Am Mine" as a separate video are also tentative at this point, he says.
