] Date Posted: 15:40:07 11/02/04 Tue In reply to: Brent (Canada) 's message, "H2O" on 15:09:26 11/02/04 Tue Yes, I watched both parts of this series. It was very good. It was also a wake-up call to Canadians and underlines our fear of American domination. If it airs on the BBC (which I highly doubt), they will probably say that it's American, because they don't even acknowledge that Canada even exists! Date Posted: 15:52:44 11/02/04 Tue I too saw it - a fine presentation and wake-up call for all Canadians and the little people around the globe. Globe and Mail columnist John Ibbitson says the right will froth when they see the Paul Gross mini-series H2O airing this coming Sunday and Monday nights at 8:00 on CBC. His article in today's Globe and Mail is good reading and a heads-up to catch the show, which Ibbitson calls "a political act." and also a darn good production. [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |
