Misdirection is simply what it says- when she is nicking your keys you are looking where she is directing you. i.e. where she is looking, which is NOT the hand with the keys. As to sleight of hand: There are various palming gestures used...finger palm, classic palm...well those are for cards but anything where you grab something and the hand looks normally relaxed and has still has some mobility could be considered a slieight...adding to that def'n something usually changes places or dissapears etc. So hand is putting keys in pocket whilst you are following the other hand. So the key to misdirection is to NOT look where the thing really is ( i.e. done by touch and requires practice), and to distract with the other hand (i.e. grinding the hand like you are disapating or dissolving something), you also need a logical reason to use the hand containing the object ( i.e. dropping to side relaxed or grabbing a " magic object" from your pocket whilst disposing of the item in that pocket) This is a simple example used for coin/ card / small object tricks, but the principle applies to all things. Have fun and be creative! As to web sites....this one has some basci card sleights on it.
