Subject: MCPB Trivia Contest - Answer by May 13

The names of people who answer correctly will be entered into a random pool where three winners will be drawn.

YOU MUST ANSWER ON THIS FORUM!!!

The prizes are:

- $20 towards your Scotland expenses

- $20 at In N Out Burger (perfect for lunch on a Saturday practice this summer)

- Your uniform completely pressed and polished, by yours truly, the Drum Major, the night before the Worlds.

If you think someone has posted the right answer already, post yours no matter what. It doesn't matter if you copy someone else's answer, because it has to be correct before a name goes into the hat.

All of these questions can be verified using Internet resources. Since the goal this summer is our trip to the Worlds, this trivia contest focuses on that venue!

These are the three questions:

1) Ian McLellan was P/M of Strathclyde Police when they won the Worlds in 1976. Who was his Lead Drummer?

2) True or False : Prince Charles Pipe Band of San Francisco was the first US pipe band to win a Grade 2 World Championship.

3)Subtract the year that 78th Frasers won the Worlds in Grade 1 from the year Victoria Police did the same. Multiply that by the number of times Field Marshal has won the Worlds. What is the number?

Answer any question correctly and your name will be added to the hat. You only need to get one to be eligible for either of the three prizes.

Hopefully this will spark some debate and conversation on the forum?

Thanks!
Kevin
