Jim,Chris and Kevin DO have the right idea re D&D.

As Chris says obliquely (look it up!), judges tend to not give Bands a true listening if they turn up looking like tinks.

It doesn't matter to Joe Public anywhere if it's Shotts or Magharafelt PB - if they're smart they'll forgive a lot and bookings come in.

I won't let my Band on with dodgy kit if I can help it. I go round the ring and check Dress - no-one objects (provided I don't scare the unowot outta them) and actually seem to want it.

Personally I think you lot are a credit to the Band organisation re D&D......it only takes one however!
