Subject: 2005 Worlds Pre-Season Predictions

8 months before the first band even marches up to the pitch, who do you all think will win the Worlds?

Grade 1: A lot of hype will be placed on SLOT (St Laurence O'Toole) this year with them having the Concert Hall on the Wednesday before. Can they do it? Would this make them the first band from Eire to win the Grade 1 title? Of course, there's current champs FM, SFU, Shotts and the Polis. Will the Poli's new P/M help continue to ramp things up and continue what Jimmy Wark put in place? Also, what about underdogs like Clan Gregor, LA Scots and Ballinderry Bridge (their first year out). And... when the hell is Lothian and Borders going back down to Grade 2??? No offense to L&B but statistically speaking, they're hurtin' bad.

What about the other grades? Any predictions?

Food for thought,
Kev
