Hi all.

I am after some advice on a Dell Inspiron 3000 laptop as I am interested in purchasing one. How do they fair? I have a fairly old PC (Athlon 850Mhz, 256 Ram) and would like to know how it will compare to this. I am only really after it for watchin movies on the go rather then be resricted to my PC desk. Can it handle movies/avi's? Will the scren freeze? Whats the sound like? Can it handle Win XP? I know very little about this laptop but have read a few posts thatrave about Dells' and I'm hoping I'm going to get more from a 233Mhz Dell laptop than I would from a standard 233Mhz PC or a lesser known 233Mhz laptop.

Any help would be much appreciated in helping me make an informed decision.

Thanks in advance.

Carl
