I purchased a used Dell Lat CP and after re-installing Win 98. I have two printers and can't get either to install. Both printers work because I have previously installed them in another pc. The drivers seem to be installed because it goes thru the installation steps okay. . . .just when I hook up he printers and run a test page all I get is a bunch of mixed up letters and symbols. . . so the computer is not transmitting the correct signals to the printers. Is it possible that I need a new printer port? Thank you for your help.
