A couple of week ago I picked up a used Inspiron 3500. The only problem was it contained a floppy drive, but not a CD Rom. So, I picked one up on EBAY. I'm now trying to install the CD ROM, and I can't get the laptop to recognize the drive. I've removed the floppy, and inserted the CR Rom in the first options bay. The drive does have power. Is there anything else that needs to be done?
